Experience Kenya on Foot—Close Encounters with Nature’s Hidden Wisdom
A Kenya Safari is more than game drives—it’s about slowing down and sensing the wild with all your senses. A Guided Nature Walk offers a rich, close-up connection to Kenya’s landscapes, plants, and creatures. Led by our expert local guides and trackers, each step reveals ancient knowledge, subtle signs of wildlife, and the raw beauty of Africa’s ecosystems.
Guided Nature Walks take you where vehicles can’t—across open savannahs, acacia woodlands, riverbanks, and scenic hills. You’ll learn to read animal tracks, identify bird calls, and understand how plants are used for food, medicine, and survival. The experience is not just educational—it’s deeply grounding, a chance to connect with nature as our ancestors once did.

It was my first time travelling to Kenya and going on an African wildlife safari. Elizabeth from Elwama Tours was very responsive, knowledgeable, friendly, easy to communicate with and could answer all the questions I had as a solo traveler. She arranged a two-night safari tour for me in the beautiful Amboseli National Park, including the transportation from Nairobi to the park and back. She was also able to arrange everything to meet my needs, such as travelling by train from Nairobi to Emali instead of by car. Everything was taken care of and went very smoothly thanks to her tips and planning. I strongly recommend working with Elwama Tours for anyone who wishes to travel in Kenya.
Our 5 days holiday in Kenya was just wonderful! We had an amazing safari well organized and planned by Elwama Tours; and our guide Musyoka was absolutely fantastic. During the safari, we saw a wide variety of wildlife including the Big Five and even spotted a leopard in Amboseli, a rarity! Our guide made our experience extra special with knowledgeable insights and tips all done in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. I would recommend Elwama Tours to anyone who wants to visit Kenya. Their passion and dedication to clients make the adventure even more memorable!
Our private tour guide, Stephen, was fantastic. We thoroughly enjoyed the safari at Maasai Mara, Lake Nakuru, and Amboseli National Parks and learned a lot about wildlife and more. Stephen is exceptionally knowledgeable about the parks and animals, along with the history and culture of Kenya and can explain things in a very interesting and engaging way. We felt very well taken of and the planning was impeccable. We highly recommend Stephen and Elwama Tours for Kenya safaris!
